Education
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science from Vassar College and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Smith College, a program with a strong psychodynamic foundation. I conducted research at Harvard Medical School on meditation as a treatment for anxiety and I have published on mind-body interventions for anxiety and proneness to panic disorder.
Earlier in my career, I also published research at Vassar on topics including the neurobiology of memory, the relationship between language and emotion, and created contemplative practices for young adults.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in four states: #CW025273 (PA), #44SC06503400 (NJ), #116505 (TX), and #TPSW5391 (FL), but I work and live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hobbies and interests
Outside of my therapy sessions, you can find me somewhere outside, ideally by a body of water, reading, tending to my garden, commuting through Philly by bike, and watching movies with friends.
